Owners Attendance at Scottish Racecourses Update

Due to the recent increased rates of transmission of Covid-19 throughout the country racing industry leaders have agreed with government that in areas in Level 4 in Scotland and Tier 4 in England only essential staff will be permitted to attend race meetings behind closed doors.

We have therefore to inform owners that as South Ayrshire, in keeping with all of mainland Scotland, falls within Level 4 they will sadly not be permitted to attend our meetings on January 2, January 6 and January 18.

The only individuals attending will be those deemed by the British Horse Racing Authority to be essential to staging the fixture.

We value our owners and look forward to welcoming you back when restrictions are eased and it is safe to attend.

In the meantime we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of Ayr Racecourse an d wish you a Happy New Year as we look forward to better times in 2021.
