Access
Disabled access is available through Gate C, which enters the racecourse via a slope entrance downwards, where you can easily access the Parade Ring, Trackside, Lawns, Ayrshire Suite, Princess Royal Suite, Bookies and Bars. The majority of external areas are on hard standing with no stairs, allowing easy access throughout. There are some grass areas on the trackside and lawns, which are level, allowing access also.

There is a lift available for disabled visitors allowing access upstairs to our Princess Royal Suite and Hospitality Facilities. The lift can be accessed by entering the main building via a door to the right hand side of the Ayrshire Suite.

The Princess Royal suite is across two levels, with a lift on the left hand side of the suite to allow access to the lower level.

By Road
The M77 links Ayr with Glasgow which is only 37 miles away and Edinburgh is an 83 mile drive. Stagecoach operate regular and reliable services to Ayr from a number of locations visit www.stagecoachbus.com for detailed timetables.

Taxis can offer disabled drop-off at the front of the Racecourse, beside the Princess Royal Reception/Gate C.

By Rail
There is a regular, reliable rail service from Ayr to all parts of the country and the station is less than five minutes by road or a 21 minute walk from the course.

By Ferry
Ferry links are available from Cairnryan to Ireland.

By Air
Prestwick International Airport is only 10 minutes from Ayr and Glasgow Airport only 40 minutes, both offering flights to and from a variety of destinations.

Carers Free Tickets
At Ayr Racecourse we offer complimentary Carers tickets for racegoers requiring a carer. These tickets are available at all of our racemeetings, we recommend booking in advance by calling 01292 264179. Please note stewards will ask for accreditation upon entry.

Parking & Drop-off
Disabled parking is available at the front of the Racecourse outside the Princess Royal entrance. Disabled drop-off is also available outside the Princess Royal entrance beside Gate C. Please note similarly to other event spaces and car parks, the disabled parking operates on a first come first served basis.

Disabled Toilets
Disabled toilets are located throughout the Racecourse and can be found in the Ayrshire Suite, Princess Royal Suite, Western House Hotel and Owners Club. If you are unsure how to find these, please ask a member of staff on the day.

Accessible Viewing Area
An elevated accessible viewing area is located on the trackside, accessible to both Club & Grandstand racegoers. The elevated area is accessible via a ramp and can accommodate wheelchair users.

Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs may accompany their partner on course, both indoors and outdoors. We kindly ask that any assistance dogs are kept on a lead at all times whilst at Ayr Racecourse if possible.
