Memberships of our new Ayr Racecourse Racing Club have been proving very popular and we have to announce that we will be CLOSING the list of members on Sunday, January 12 so come and join us right now while you can.
The Club will own 2 horses in training with Jim Goldie for the 2025 Flat season with memberships available at £30 and all fees in their entirety being donated to our charity partner, Ayrshire Cancer Support.
Our horses are the full sisters Sophiesticate (6 year-old) and Penelope’s Sister (5 year-old) which are rated 66 and 51 going into the new campaign with full details available HERE.
It’s going to be a great year for our members following the fortunes of our two horses so don’t miss out on your chance to be with us through 2025.
Ayr’s Flat season gets underway on Monday, April 28, just 2 weeks after our flagship Coral Scottish Grand National Festival which rounds off our jumps campaign and the track has made a great start to 2025 with both of our scheduled fixtures going ahead on Thursday, January 2 and Monday, January 6.
Larne handler Stuart Crawford followed last year’s treble at our New Year fixture with a double this time around and there have been great starts to the new year at Ayr from the Scottish yards of Lucinda Russell and Nick Alexander as well.
Nick, Stuart, Peter Scudamore, JJ Slevin, Sean Quinlan, Danny McMenamin, Bruce Lynn and Conor O’Farrell have been amongst the many racing figures interviewed in front of racegoers by our Raceday Presenter Jim Delahunt already in 2025 and Jim will be bringing you all the reaction to the key moments at Ayr all the way up to our Scottish Grand National Festival and beyond.
Our next jumps racing here at Ayr will be our fixture on Tuesday, January 21 and we’ll be racing again in February on Tuesday 11 and Monday 24.
Friday and Saturday, March 7 and 8 will be a key 2-day fixture for Northern trainers the weekend before the Cheltenham Festival and its the first of 3 more years of the Coral Scottish Grand National Festival on Friday and Saturday, April 11 and 12 so get your tickets here right now.
