Dress to impress
Dressing for a day at the races depends greatly on if it is one of our many glamorous days out or a visit to a midweek fixture. But overall the simple code is smart but casual with no ripped or torn denims in hospitality or club areas and no football colours.
The fashion stakes are never higher that at Ayr’s most glamorous racedays – Scottish Sun Ladies Night, Coral Scottish Grand National Ladies Day and Ayr Gold Cup Ladies Day. The girls glam up in their colourful dresses, hats and fascinators and that prompts the guys to wear their smartest outfits too.
The standard is high and the bar is raised every year! So come dressed to impress and you may even be in with a chance to win some fantastic prizes with our Style Awards Competitions for Ladies and Gents.
