We’re back racing at Ayr this Monday afternoon after Saturday’s annual Racenight, and opportunities are running out for trainers to give their horses a run at the track before returning for our 3-day Gold Cup Festival next month. Last year’s card saw 7 of the 8 races won by Scottish trainers with the only exception being the Archie Watson trained Duty First (Hollie Doyle) which went on to finish second and third at Group 3 and Group 2 level in its next 2 races.
