REMEMBER YOUR TICKET!
Whether a e-ticket or paper ticket please make sure you have it to hand before arriving at the gates. Please make sure you have the correct documents the week before, as tickets will not be  re-printed or resent the week of the Festival and replacement tickets will not be available on the day and entry will be refused.

If you have a concession, carers or student ticket, please ensure you have the correct documentation with you on the day.

The next recommendation is to leave in plenty of time so you don’t miss any of the races! Gates open at 11.30am on Friday and 11am on the Saturday, so arrive early, then you can relax and take your time picking your bets.

Club Enclosure

The Club Enclosure grants you access to all Club on-course facilities. Enjoy the exclusive Princess Royal Suite, boasting panoramic views of the racecourse, and relax at the Champagne Lawns adjacent to the Parade Ring. Your club badge also allows access to our live band Sheb, and entry to Shaun Williamsons ‘Barriokie Set’ after racing in the Ayrshire Suite is also included.

Grandstand Enclosure

Fridays Grandstand ticket offers access to the external Grandstand area overlooking the track, the Ayrshire Suite on the ground floor of the Princess Royal Stand, complete with multiple bars and a cafe, Parade Ring access and entry to Shaun Williamsons ‘Barriokie Set’ after racing.

Club Enclosure

The Club Enclosure grants you access to all Club on-course facilities. Enjoy the exclusive Princess Royal Suite, boasting panoramic views of the racecourse, and relax at the Champagne Lawns adjacent to the Parade Ring. Your club badge allows access to our live band Kuil and also to the Grandstand Premier Enclosure for George Bowie’s GBX set in the Ayrshire Suite after racing.

Grandstand Premier Enclosure

One of two grandstand options this year, the Grandstand Premier ticket offers access to the external grandstand area overlooking the track, rails bookmakers and the Ayrshire Suite on the ground floor of the Princess Royal Stand, complete with multiple bars and a cafe. Parade Ring access and entry to George Bowie’s GBX Set after racing is also included.

Grandstand Enclosure

Saturday’s Grandstand ticket grants entry to the purpose-built Grandstand Enclosure on Saturday 12th. Enjoy views of the track, diverse food and drinks outlets, betting facilities, and live band performances during and after racing. This ticket grants access solely to the Grandstand Enclosure and does not include entry to the Grandstand Premier.

Legends Lounge

Our exclusive Legends Lounge Package is back and puts you right in the heart of the action at the Coral Scottish Grand National. Situated in a Marquee next to the track and the Parade Ring, you are truly amongst the Legends of Scotland’s biggest Jumps Festival!

Included in this package is your Club Admission Badge, Reserved Seat/ Table for the Day, Arrival Drink, a Racecard, Private Bar & Betting Facilities, Tipster Talk and a hot pie served during racing!

Please note: Seating in Legends is a mix of high poseur tables and stools and lounge furniture.

Dress Code

We have no strict dress code here at Ayr with the exception of asking for no denims in hospitality or football colours anywhere on course. However you will find that many racegoers to take the opportunity to get dressed up.

Racecards

Racecards are the perfect way to enhance your Coral Scottish Grand National experience. They are available to buy in advance on our website through the ticket page for each fixture or they can alternatively be bought on the day at any Tote Betting Facility.

The Coral Scottish Grand National is scheduled to be held on Friday 11th April and Saturday 12th April2025.

We highly recommend getting your tickets in advance for The Coral Scottish Grand National Saturday as this event has been a sell out for many years.

Any tickets left will be available to purchase on the day but we please check our website and social media channels for availability.

The gates will open at 11.30am on Friday 11th and at  11am on Saturday 12th.

You can conveniently purchase tickets on our website here. Group booking discounts may be available, so be sure to check for special promotions.

On Friday we have: Grandstand, Club, Champagne Lawns Lounge, Legends Lounge and various hospitality options.

On Saturday : SOLD OUT

All grandstand tickets will be e-tickets, and all other ticket types will be sent in the form of paper tickets.

All tickets for Saturday 12th April have now been sent/posted. If you have not received your tickets please get in touch with us before Friday 4th April to get them re-issued.

Tickets for Friday 11th will be posted/sent up until Tuesday 8th April, and there-after will be left for collection on the day.

Yes, cash is widely accepted at various outlets, including bars, food stalls, and for betting. However, some vendors may also offer card payment options.

Concessions are available for the Coral Scottish Grand National Ladies Day only for anyone over the age of 60. You may be asked for proof of age.

Ayr Racecourse adheres to a strict no-refund policy for event tickets. If you are unable to attend, please be aware that refunds will not be issued.

Please ensure that you arrive with your ticket as it is needed for access and cannot be reprinted on the day.

The nearest cash machine is at the Tesco next to the racecourse. But cashback is available from any Tote Betting Facility on site.

On course you can either bet with the Tote or on course bookmakers. The Tote has selling points throughout the racecourse – look for tote or Totepool signs.

The bookmakers are usually located beside the paddock and in front of the Grandstand. Bookmakers display their prices on electronic boards while the tote have theirs on television screens. (+18 only)

Yes, there is car parking available. Parking is free at Ayr Racecourse to all our guests and there is ample space available.

The fashion stakes are high at The Coral Scottish Grand National Festival. The ladies glam up in their colourful dresses, hats and fascinators and the gents wear their smartest outfits too.

Hospitality facilities operate a smart/casual dress code.  No jeans or trainers.

The Club Enclosure dress code is also smart/casual, although smart jeans and trainers are acceptable.

The Grandstand Enclosure has a more relaxed code, although strictly no football colours permitted.

Yes, there is entertainment for 3 hours after the last race.

On Ladies Day we will be joined by Shaun Williamson, star of EastEnders. Shaun will be bringing his iconic BARRIOKE set to Ayr Racecourse. As well as this we will be joined by Colin McArdle & top covers band, Sheb.

Saturday promises an electrifying experience as we welcome the incredible George Bowie, set to ignite the crowd with his legendary GBX set in the Grandstand Premier enclosure! Joining the line-up in the Club enclosure is the sensational covers band Kuil.
