Owners & Trainers

Ayr Racecourse is committed to providing a superior level of customer service to Owners and Trainers.

We are pleased and excited to be able to welcome owners back with the ability to offer a much more extensive raceday experience in line with Government guidelines.

We are delighted to be able to welcome owners back to Western House Hotel for a two course meal prior to watching your horse run.

To enable us to comply with Government requirements and ensure that all of the appropriate arrangements are in place, you must provide us with the details of those who will be attending. Badges for you and your guests are now available to allocate - please visit www.RCAPASS.com by no later than 4pm on the day before the race meeting to see the number of badges available to you and to provide the required details for attendance.. A simple step-by step guide to using the system is available from the RCA Website. If you do not have access to the PASS System or need any assistance in its use, please contact the PASS Helpdesk on 01933 270333 or pass@weatherbys.co.uk.

The new measures on course will include:

  • A maximum of four owners per horse who will each be entitled to a complimentary meal served in Western House between 16:00 and 19:00. Unused badges must not be passed on.

THE RACING
We provide a designated signposted area on the main Stand, close to the Parade Ring, to allow Owners and Trainers the best possible viewing position during Racing.

Following each race, our dedicated Owners and Trainers Liaison ensures that every win is most definitely one to be celebrated and remembered.

Connections and guests are invited, along with representatives of the Race Sponsor, to a private area to toast their winner with Champagne and Canapes, and to relive the victory, as many times as they wish, via USB Flash Drive. A copy of the Flash Drive, along with a framed photograph of the moment of victory, are also presented to our winning Owners as a lasting memory.

With many years experience as a Racehorse owner, I am constantly impressed with the effort and expediency with which the team at Ayr work to ensure that the race track is produced to the highest standard possible. Welfare of horses and jockeys is obviously paramount in their priorities. This, coupled with first class hospitality, is why we remain long-standing Sponsors and supporters of Ayr.
