The Joseph O’Brien- trained Kim Roque heads the sponsor’s betting for Saturday’s Coral Scottish Grand National at 9-2, following the final declarations for the £200,000 Ayr showpiece today. King Of Answers is the 6-1 second favourite, ahead of Quebecois and Road To Home, both 7-1.
“Both Road To Home and Ask Brewster finished ahead of Kim Roque in the Kim Muir at last month’s Cheltenham Festival, but the latter will be better off at the weights with that pair on Saturday, and so is favoured to land the big prize, with another Festival placed horse, King Of Answers, his closest market rival,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
“Willie Mullins relies solely on Road To Home as he bids for a hat-trick of victories in Scotland’s biggest race, but with runners from Wales, England and Scotland along with the Irish raiders, this year’s renewal should live up to its status as the fourth biggest betting race of the entire year in our shops across the UK,” added Stevens.
