The action starts at 2.00 pm with a Novice Stakes over six furlongs which will see some of the north’s leading stables sending their juveniles to contest this.
The seven furlong at 4.00 pm is a race that usually attracts a decent size field and the feature race of the afternoon is a five furlong Class 4 handicap won last year by the Michael Dods trained My Name Is Rio.
The afternoon concludes with a one mile five furlongs handicap for lady amateur riders.
First race 2.00 pm, last race 5.00 pm. Gates open 12 noon.
