Goldie brings in the New Year with 4 winners

Jim Goldie celebrated in style bagging four winners over the two days, including  a 440/1 treble on Tuesday courtesy of Wind Shuffle, Arctic Court and Bene Lad.

The Uplawmoor based trainer set the ball rolling in the last race on Sunday, the Best Odds Guaranteed At Victor Chandler Novices Novices' Handicap Hurdle  when Too Cool To Fool, an 8/1 chance ridden by Graham Lee,  led over the last hurdle and went on to win by a length and three quarters from Aghill (8/1).

Goldie's Tuesday winners were all ridden by Richie McGrath - Wind Shuffle (6/1) in the Bet Live At victorchandler.com Novices Chase, Arctic Court (8/1) in the Play Poker At victorchandler.com Handicap Hurdle  and Bene Lad (6/1) in the Best Odds Guaranteed At Victor Chandler Handicap Hurdle.

Other trainers in good form over the two days were Donald McCain jnr and Keith Reveley. The latter saddled a winner both days. On Sunday Diklers Oscar (5/2 fav) won the Bet Live At victorchandler.com Handicap Hurdle while the following day it was the turn of Eyre Square (7/4 fav) in the Bet Now At victorchandler.com Handicap Chase. The trainer's son James Reveley rode both horses.

McCain's double came on Sunday courtesy of Lively Baron(5/4 fav)  in the European Breeders Fund National Hunt Novices Hurdle and Sagalyrique (8/1)  in the Play Poker At victorchandler.com Handicap Chase both in the hands of Jason Maguire.

Irish handler James Lambe sent Schindlers Society (6/1) from his County Tyrone stable to land the Play Live Casino At victorchandler.com Handicap Chase on Monday while there was also a Welsh trained winner on the day - First Fandango (5/4 fav) in the opening Juvenile Hurdle.
