Children from Braehead Nursery School in Ayr just love their new playhouse gifted to them from Ayr Racecourse. The ground staff built and painted the house and were on hand to see the children admiring it. It will be used for literacy activities and as you can see from our picture it has already been voted a hit by the youngsters.

Lesley Zonfrillo, one of the teachers at Braehead said: “Thanks to everyone at the Racecourse. The new playhouse will provide opportunities to enhance the children’s outdoor learning.”

David Brown, Ayr Racecourse Managing Director added: “Braehead Nursery School is not far from the Racecourse and we were delighted to help the local community in this way.”
