Ayr Racecourse & Western House Hotel requires a part time dynamic experienced Sales Executive to join our busy Sales and Marketing Team. This is a fantastic role for a pro-active highly motivated individual with sales experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging new and existing audiences to drive sales across our entire portfolio including race sponsorship, hospitality & admission sales and conference and events. Responsibilities will include maintaining a good relationship with existing customers as well as proactively seeking new opportunities, sectors and clients as well as assisting with other general sales and marketing responsibilities.

Skills and experience required are, but are not limited to:-

• Self motivated & target driven

• Ability to demonstrate a proven track record in sales, preferably within the leisure sector

• Excellent customer service skills

• Experience in new business development and account management

• Excellent communication skills

• Have excellent attention to detail and organisational & time management skills

• IT – an understanding of CRM systems, Microsoft office and social platforms

• Interest or experience in horseracing and/or hotel industry would be advantageous but not essential.
