The award winning 4 star Western House Hotel at Ayr Racecourse, is looking to strengthen its Reception Team, and is currently seeking to recruit for an experienced Reception Manager and Receptionist, to join our successful team.

The successful candidate in both roles will act as first point of contact for Western House Hotel, and must be confident in dealing with guests, and who strives to continually deliver first class customer service.
Ideally we are looking for an individual who has;
- Excellent Customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- IT literate
- High level of professionalism
- Preferably 2+ years receptionist experience in a supervisory role
- Previous experience in hotel booking systems would be advantageous

PAYROLL / ACCOUNTS
A vacancy has arisen in our busy Accounts Office for an experienced person to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity covering several areas of the business:
PAYROLL - Must be experienced in all aspects of Sage Payroll, to collate hours, process monthly payroll for 2 companies and manage pension auto-enrolment schemes.
PURCHASE LEDGER - processing invoices, payment runs, reconciling supplier statements and cash book.
RACE DAYS – involved in all aspects of ticket sales and Cash Office functions, from checking in staff, to issuing floats and reconciling cash.
A good knowledge of Excel is essential.
This is a full-time position with flexible working hours available.

We are currently recruiting bar staff to join our team. You would be required to serve beverages to guests in a courteous, friendly and timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction. Set up, stock and maintain work areas and ensure that all licensing laws and health and safety legislation are adhered to.
An exciting role for a highly motivated and hardworking individual. As a team member you would be responsible for serving food to guests and in a courteous manner. You would also be responsible for checking the cleanliness and presentation of all glass, china and silverware prior to use. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures and carry out any other reasonable requests made by the manager and supervisor.
As a member of our waiting team previous experience is not necessarily essential but a positive approach and willingness to develop is.
