Dual Grand National winning trainer Lucinda Russell had a treble on this card last year and there was also a win for Nicky Richards’ President Scottie which the Penrith trainer reckons could be a Scottish Grand National horse of the future.
Track favourite Ardera Cross has run at this meeting in each of the last 3 years, finishing 6th in 2024 and winning in 2022 and 2023 and Willie Young’s charge looks sure to feature heavily at the track again this year.
