We are delighted to be able to welcome owners back to Ayr Racecourse. Your continued support and patience is very much appreciated.

There will be four badges per horse allocated to owners.

To enable us to ensure that all of the appropriate arrangements are in place and minimise risk for owners and prioritise the safety and well-being of all attendees, we need you to provide us with the details of all those who will be attending no later than 4pm on the day before the race meeting. You must ensure you book your badges by following the booking guide above. If you have any other queries regarding badge allocation please contact me via email.

Please note that if a horse is declared a non-runner, the owner should not attend the fixture.

  • All owners will need to complete a two stage screening process. This includes the ROA’s COVID-19 online learning module and a personal health assessment to be completed in advance of raceday, followed by healthg questions and a temperature check on arrival at the racecourse.
  • Owners will access Ayr racecourse by turning off Whitletts Road at the traffic lights at Tesco following the private racecourse road to the checkpoint where they will remain in the car to go through temperature checks answer health questions and be issued with a wrist band. You will then enter the PR car park.
  • All owners and guests should continue to observe social distancing guidelines and wear face coverings for the duration of their visit.
  • All owners, guests and representatives must bring Photo ID with them to the racecourse. It is not essential to bring your PASS card.
  • Owners on course will have access to a dedicated ‘owners’ zone’, which will be separated from raceday workers (trainers, stable staff, jockeys, officials, media etc.), who have undergone a more rigorous health screening process. For infection control purposes no movement will be permitted between the two areas of the racecourse.



The Owners Entrance will open at 11.15am on both days.

There will be complimentary takeaway style food available per national covid guidelines and complimentary refreshments including tea, coffee and soft drinks will also be served. Due to ongoing restrictions we are not permitted to serve alcohol at this meeting.

Please note no bookmakers will be in attendance and there will be no betting facilities.
