Ayr Racecourse is Scotland’s premier racecourse staging both flat and jumps fixtures with meetings being staged throughout the year. The track hosts the ‘Jewels in the Crown’ of Scottish racing including the Coral Scottish Grand National Festival and the William Hill Ayr Gold Cup Festival.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Manager to manage an on-site Maintenance Team and co-ordinate Contractors. The role carrying out general maintenance, refurbishment and construction works on the site including but not limited to the trades listed below.
Electrical, Audio, Visual, Broadcast, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Intruder alarm, Painting, Plumbing, Joinery, Groundwork's.
Work closely with other departments and outside contractors in the organisation, set up, running and take down of Racing and Events.
Oversee the waste management on site and make sure current legislation's are complied with in the most cost effective manner.
Monitor all site utilities gas, water, electricity and sewage to maintain constant supplies to allow continuity of business in the most cost effective manner.
Prepare budget costs for capital investment on developments, infrastructure and equipment.
Price, tender and negotiate contracts for maintenance, refurbishment and construction work.
Comply with all current HSE, Fire, Planning, Building standards, Regulatory bodies policies etc in relation to the role.

We are currently recruiting bar staff to join our team. You would be required to serve beverages to guests in a courteous, friendly and timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction. Set up, stock and maintain work areas and ensure that all licensing laws and health and safety legislation are adhered to.
An exciting role for a highly motivated and hardworking individual. As a team member you would be responsible for serving food to guests and in a courteous manner. You would also be responsible for checking the cleanliness and presentation of all glass, china and silverware prior to use. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures and carry out any other reasonable requests made by the manager and supervisor.
As a member of our waiting team previous experience is not necessarily essential but a positive approach and willingness to develop is.
