Ayr Racecourse is Scotland’s premier racecourse staging both flat and jumps fixtures with meetings being staged throughout the year. The track hosts the ‘Jewels in the Crown’ of Scottish racing including the Coral Scottish Grand National Festival and the William Hill Ayr Gold Cup Festival.
Our versatile venue also hosts a variety of non-racing related activities including conferences, weddings and exhibitions.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Manager to join our management team at Ayr Racecourse. Managing a small in-house team and external contractors, you will be required to maintain the racecourse facilities carrying out general maintenance, refurbishment and construction works. You will work closely with other departments and contractors to ensure the smooth running of racedays and events. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all current HSE and Fire regulations.
Ideally you will have a strong background in a trade with a solid understanding of the technical aspects of plumbing, electrical, painting and joinery. We are currently recruiting bar staff to join our team. You would be required to serve beverages to guests in a courteous, friendly and timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction. Set up, stock and maintain work areas and ensure that all licensing laws and health and safety legislation are adhered to.
An exciting role for a highly motivated and hardworking individual. As a team member you would be responsible for serving food to guests and in a courteous manner. You would also be responsible for checking the cleanliness and presentation of all glass, china and silverware prior to use. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures and carry out any other reasonable requests made by the manager and supervisor.
As a member of our waiting team previous experience is not necessarily essential but a positive approach and willingness to develop is.
