The £65,000 Listed William Doonside Cup is the feature race run over one mile two furlongs and six runners go to post including Frankuus, a three year son of Frankel, trained by Mark Johnston in Middleham and the mount of Joe Fanning.
The top weight is the eight year-old Irish raider and multiple Listed race winner Brendan Brackan, trained by Ger Lyons and ridden by Colin Keane.
The opening race is the EBF Novice Stakes over a mile for two year-olds and there are four previous winners in the ten strong field including Kevin Ryan’s Salazar, winner of a seven furlong novice stakes at the track in August and Lisheen Castle from the John Quinn yard who won on the soft at Hamilton last month.
