The Skelton brothers – trainer Dan and jockey Harry make the long trip from Warwickshire and have several runners this afternoon.
There are two Class 3 contests – the Bet At racinguk.com Novices’ Chase over two miles four furlongs and the Get Daily Tips At racinguk.com Handicap Hurdle also over the two and a half mile trip.
The latter has the Dan Skelton trained Three Musketeers returning to hurdles after finishing second in a chase earlier in the year. Harry Skelton takes the mount on the eight year-old who has won two Grade 2 Hurdles in the past. The Nicky Richards yard is represented by top weight One For Harry, the mount of Ryan Day.
The novices’ chase features Progress Drive, another Nicky Richards trained horse, and an impressive winner at our last meeting earlier in the month .
First race 2.15 pm, last race 5.30 pm. Gates open 12.15 pm.
