Veterinary Costs
At Ayr Racecourse, our superb Vets offer Trainers/Owners a
number of performance tests on the day should your horse run below
par. These services are:
- Post-race Endoscopy - £50 inc vat*
- Blood Test - £75.06 inc vat
Any veterinary treatment given on the racecourse in relation to
an injury sustained during a race is provided courtesy of the
racecourse.
*Please note this is a paid on the day price and will be
slightly more if invoiced.
Farriery Costs
At every fixture we have a fully qualified, racehorse
experienced Farrier on duty for all of your equine competitors
shoeing requirements. Please see below 2011 prices which are
including VAT if paid on the day and are subject to VAT if invoiced
after the raceday:
- Full set of Racing Plates - £70
- Replacement of one Racing Plate/Shoe - £20
- Removal of a set of shoes and hoof trim - £20
