SIX MOUNTS FOR TITLE CHASING SPENCER
AYR Racecourse stages its second October meeting
of the season on Friday October 26 and the seven race card has
attracted a total of 89 runners.
First race is due off at 2.10 pm and an added attraction is the
appearance of top jockey Jamie Spencer currently fighting out the
Jockeys Championship with rival Seb Sanders. Spencer has mounts in
the first six races.
Clerk of the Course Katherine Self last night described the going
as good to soft and added there was rain forecast on Friday
morning.
Today's meeting is a Single Enclosure Day with all racegoers
being charged only £14 for entry.
This means a £6 saving on normal Club prices and those
attending the day will also be able to join in some seasonal fun as
the theme is a Ghouls and Goblins Raceday so Hallow'een will
come to the Craigie course five days early.
