THE BANDIT COULD SCORE ON HUNTER CHASE DEBUT
AYR Racecourse holds its second
February meeting of the year on Thursday with a whopping 198
entries at the five day declaration stage.
And with the ground drying out its likely most of the races will
have big fields and punters are in for some competitive racing.
Lenny Lungo's Dumfriesshire stable is beginning to hit form and
he could have a few interesting runners including Banoge in the
Celebrate Easter At Western House Hotel Maiden Hurdle and the 13
year old The Bajan Bandit in the Tartanturftours.co.uk Hunters
Chase.
Winner of three chases and ten hurdles races in a career that has
earned almost £100,000, The Bajan Bandit may not be the force
of old but is worth a look on his hunter chasing debut.
Donald McCain Jnr's horses are in sparkling form and he had a
treble at Ayr's meeting earlier in the month. His recent
Carlisle winner Mrs O'Malley could be hard to beat in the Join

Potentially the best quality race on the card is the Weatherbys
Bank Novice Handicap Chase over two miles and leading players here
should be Ferdy Murphy's Media Man, Nicky Richards Run To Space
and Something Silver from Jim Goldie's yard.
First race is at 2.10 pm with bars and restaurants opening at 12.10
