JUMPS ACTION RETURNS TO AYR
JUMPS racing returns to Ayr
Racecourse on Monday November 26 when the first meeting of the new
season takes place.
The six race card comes under starter's orders at 1.10 pm and
it's a real mixed bag with three hurdle races, two chases and a
national hunt flat race.
It will be the first meeting over the jumps since the Coral
Scottish Grand National Festival in April this year and while there
won't be the quality of that meeting on the 26th the
action should still be highly competitive.
The feature race is the Subscribe Online@racinguk.tv Handicap Chase
over two miles four furlongs with £10,000 in prize money and a
healthy £6,500 to winning connections.
All the top northern jump jockeys are expected to be in action
including Graham Lee, Tony Dobbin, Peter Buchanan, Brian Harding
and Richard McGrath.
Advance tickets are on sale with 10 % discount for single bookings
or 20 % for parties of 20 or more. Both offers are subject to
