AYR PASSES EARLY MORNING INSPECTION
RACING GOES AHEAD AT AYR
RACING at Ayr today goes ahead after the course passed an early morning inspection.
Clerk of the Course Katherine Self reports the going as heavy and fresh ground will be used on the bends on both the chase and hurdles courses.
There are seven races on the card with the first race at 2.15 pm. There is an Irish Day theme with the main sponsors the Allied Irish Bank the t principal race on the card is the Allied Irish Bank (GB) Corporate Banking Chase at 4.00 pm.
