Ayr Racecourse's St Andrews Raceday fixture was abandoned
today after heavy rain left the course waterlogged.
A total of 27 millimetres of rain fell overnight and Clerk of
the Course Emma Marley said : "It was an easy decision to make. In
addition to the 27 millimetres another 10 was forecast so I
had no option with the course waterlogged."
Ayr's next fixture is the New Year meeting on January 2 and
