This pre Cheltenham meeting is always popular and with over
£70,000 of prizemoney on offer big fields are expected to add to
the excitement.
Friday's action starts at 2.10pm with the Bacardi Originals
Maiden Hurdle Race over two miles four furlongs and the feature
race of the afternoon is the £8000 John Smith's Handicap Chase over
three miles one furlong.
Saturday's racing is due off at 2.20pm with a two mile hurdle
while the two principal races come at 4.05pm and 5.10pm - a two
mile four furlong Handicap Chase and a two mile Handicap Chase.
It always pays to follow Yorkshire trainer Ferdy Murphy and his
stable jockey Graham Lee at this meeting as they warm up for
Cheltenham.
