Ayr Racecourse's Ladies Events are some of the most
glamorous in the UK and the prizes at William Hill (Ayr) Gold Cup
Ladies Day final are simply unbeatable!
This year's top prize is a fabulous BRAND NEW Vauxhall Astra 5 door 1.4 turbo, sponsored by Kerr & Smith/Iveco Trucks with the runner up winning a cruise courtesy of Stewart Travel and third prize is a piece of jewellery from Alex Cairncross of Perth.
And it couldn't be easier to put yourself in with a chance of securing a place in the final - simply attend one of our qualifying race meetings, dress in your most glamorous outfit and set pout to impress our mystery judges who mingle with the crowd.
The best places to be seen to be in with a chance of landing a coin will be highlighted within the racecard and on William Hill (Ayr) Gold Cup Ladies Day itself up to 27 ladies will have a coin and will each be asked to draw the name of a horse running in the William Hill (Ayr) Bronze Cup that day. The lady holding the name of the winning horse will land the star prize.

Saints and Sinners Racenight on Friday June 18 not only features the sensational Alexandra Burke but also is the first chance for ladies to win a bronze coin and a place in William Hill (Ayr) Gold Cup Ladies Day Final on Friday September 17.
First race on Saints and Sinners Racenight is at 6.10 pm with gates open at 4.10 pm and the last race is at 9.20 pm after which chart topping Alexandra Burke takes to the stage.
In addition to Saints and Sinners Racenight the other race meetings where ladies can win a coin are :
The Scottish Sun Raceday on Saturday June
19 which features seven great races including the Scottish Sun
Handicap Stakes and the Scottish News of the World EBF Land O'
Burns Fillies Stakes. There is also great after racing
entertainment from Jamie 'Afro' Archer who will take to the
stage in the Ayrshire Suite approximately 20 minutes after the last
race which is at 5.45 pm.
After Jamie finishes his set a disco will play until 8.45 pm while upstairs in the Horseshoe Bar, The Floorstompers featuring Jim Prime of Deacon Blue fame will play for three hours after racing.
The first race on Scottish Sun Raceday is at 2.25 pm with the course open at 12.25 pm.
Champagne GH Mumm Ladies Night on Saturday August 7 and what a night this is! Arguably THE most glamorous race meeting of the year at Ayr. There's seven races on the card and great after racing entertainment featuring a Take That tribute band in the Ayrshire Suite and Waterfront in the Horseshoe Bar.
The fun goes on until midnight - first race is at 5.50 pm and the last race is at 8.50 pm. Doors open at 3.50 pm.
Opening Day William Hill (Ayr) Gold Cup Festival, Thursday September 16 is the date for your diary. Just one day to go until Ladies Day Final and one of your last chances to win one of these much sought after coins.
The seven race card commences at 2.20 pm with doors open at 12.20 pm and the last race is due off at 5.15 pm. After racing enjoy the music of Sistrum in the Horseshoe Bar.
William Hill (Ayr) Gold Ladies Day Friday September 17 and ladies don't despair if you don't have a bronze coin by now. Arrive early - gates open at 12.10 pm and you could be one of the final few girls to secure a place in the final.
Entertainment after racing will see Waterfront in the Horseshoe Bar and a leading 80s band - still to be confirmed - in the Ayrshire Suite.
