Racecourse is a unique venue in Ayrshire, with conference rooms
able to hold more than twice as many delegates than any other
centre in the region, and one of the largest in Scotland. The
centre is totally flexible and can be tailored to suit the
requirements of most conferences, seminars, exhibitions and
banquets. It is easily accessible for your guests or delegates, as
it is near Glasgow city centre and the local airport, motorway and
train station.
Unlike many of the large
exhibition and conference centres in Scotland, we provide more than
just a space. The centre has been refurbished to the highest
standard, with beautiful carpeting throughout and natural daylight
from floor to ceiling in all conference rooms. There is also a
dedicated Event Manager onsite and over 1000 complimentary car
parking spaces available.
Location
The conference centre is only 35 minutes drive from Glasgow City Centre via the new M77 motorway. It is situated only six minutes from Glasgow Prestwick International Airport with regular flights from London, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Dublin and throughout Europe. Ayr Railway Station is only five minutes away and Troon Harbour is only 10 minutes drive with ferries running to and from Ireland.
For a longer stay, delegates can be accommodated in the beautiful Western House Hotel , within the Ayr Racecourse grounds.
